Adopt-A-Tree
This weekend, the County was giving away 2 free trees to all residents and who don't like a free deal! So at 7:15 am we picked Nick up and headed to Bum F* Egypt, behind God's back, to get our trees. We got there exactly at 8 am and the line of cars was at least 2 miles long outside the park. We had no idea free trees would be in such demand. To cut a long story short, after 3 hours of waiting in line, we stuck 7 trees in Lee's car and headed home. The looks we got on the highway were strange to say the least.

I'm Itching to be Stitching!
I've found me-self a new hobby! Knitting! I've always wanted to learn, and I found a shop nearby by office that taught me a week ago. Since then I've had many ups and downs, near crying frustrations considering yoga instead, and countless hours searching YouTube for tips! All in all, it's alot of fun and quite addictive. Sometimes I have to control myself from knitting underneath my desk or at red lights!
Lately, I've been finding myself at the knit shop on my lunch hour just enjoying my hobby with others and their own projects. My mother says I've become a grandmother before a mother but I've always been an "old-soul" according to one friend. I highly recommend knitting as a stress management activity (even though you feel to use the needles to inflict harm in the beginning)because there's nothing more rewarding than creating with your hands.
My first project is a scarf and I have progressively gotten better for sure. There are some mistakes but let's not look too closely!

Funny Story - It was after my 1st class and I was pumped over my accomplishments. So Lee comes home and I run out the garage screaming, "I'M A KNITTER, I'M A KNITTER!!!!"
Lee was like, " You either pronounce those T's better, or just don't say it so loud next time! Hardy Ha-Ha!"
