We're Juicers!

I'm reading this fantab book called Crazy, Sexy Diet by Kris Carr. It was recommended to me by my friend Kristin who knows all things healthy. I was looking for a good book to read anyway, and I thought why the heck not. It's a great book for anybody who gives 2 hoots about their health. What I like about it is how the author puts information in simple, funny language. I've been so inspired that I went and got our first juicer yesterday! We spent the night making concoctions to die for and it was so yummy that I'll never buy juice in the bottle again. We made a celery, carrot, beet, lime, orange, grape juice...we got a little crazy but it was fun watching the fruit go in and the juice come out!

  2. Fruit juices tend to be higher in sugar and lower in nutrients than vegetable juices. In general, you can get about 8 ounces of juice from a pound of raw produce. Juicers
